Tanks-A-Lot/Mark's Vibrobot
The military industrial complex can be fun! Tanks-A-Lot in England rents tanks for corporate events, and sexy time events, too. And Mark built a robot that violates none of Asimov's laws of robotics.

Unlike BBtv staff, me gusta Xeni pun.
Puns good. The world can always use more puns.
But what's this about Mark's robot not violating the Three Laws of Robotics? How does this robot manage to avoid allowing a human or itself coming to harm through its own inaction?
There's a collectible set of wind-up toys built on this principle, produced by Chico bicalho. Be sure to check out the neato form factor of the one dubbed "Katita":

Not sure the animated BBTV logo is needed every time you come back to Xeni. Trying going with a still logo after the first use of the animation.
Surprised by the lack of actual tank video footage! Here's one be asploded: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XZTZmzM-Kw

Now if there was only a way I could rent RoboCop for my next event I would be set!
Is there anyway these could be posted in a format that is not quick time only. I would like to download to my portable device and using a non-apple only format would be nice(yes I feel the irony). That and the quicktime player for winders is comically bad.
Would it be rude to say that I'm totally in love with Xeni?

I think you're looking for the "Metal Fingers In My Body" entry in the link roundup.
May I note that goofy Xeni is 10x hotter than the already white-hotness that is staid, newscasterly Xeni? I believe I just have.
Who was it that stormed off after Xeni's pun?
1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
Have to agree, is very nice to see Xeni showing more personality, and Mark's elegant robot should entertain kids (and by Kids I mean me) for hours. You could put different legs on it and see what happens on different surfaces.
A 1 Dollar fan from the 99 Cent store?
You got ripped off there Mark.
the logo is too distracting. also it's hard to see the "bb" part when Xeni is wearing red.

I was about to post the exact same comment.
It needs an outline, or XJ needs a different colored jacket!
Hi Guys,
Thanks a lot for the great videos! Just wondering, is it possible for you to support other video formats? Some sort of basic MPEG2 format with an MP3 audio, maybe? I'm one of those people who use a Nokia N800 and that doesn't support MPEG4 yet. A rudimentary, old-fashioned MPEG2 AVI would be great and it would work with most devices.
@Hoopy Frood & Anonymous: Sorry it's taking a while, but yes, we hope to offer alternate formats ASAP! We really are working on it.
@David Kasdan and others, yeah, we're fine tuning the BB logo stuff, I think maybe this was a bit too busy this time.
@Kurt, that was none other than Nihar Patel, writer/producer/bringer-of-funny extraordinaire!
@Anonymous -- Yep, my robot was inspired by Chico Bicalho, and I credited him in my Make article. I love his work!
Thanks, Xeni! I really love BBTV so far, and it feels like a natural extension from the real blog, with the fun stories and the serious ones, the "How-to"s, and the interviews. It all fits together well.
